Membership Frequently Asked Questions (and Answers)
We are fortunate to have the opportunity to enjoy all that the Iola Winter Sports Club has to offer. The legacy is strong and we owe it to those who committed to its success early on to continue to commit to its sustainability.

Volunteerism is the heartbeat of our organization. We believe that the dedication and generosity of our volunteers are integral to the success and vibrancy of our club. Whether you're helping maintain our trails, assisting with events, or coaching young athletes, every volunteer contributes significantly to creating memorable experiences and fostering a love for silent sports among our members. Your involvement not only enhances our programs but also strengthens the bonds within our community. We hope that you will join us in making a difference and shaping the future of silent sports at Iola.
Additionally, your membership helps the club live up to our Mission Statement: As stewards of the land and trail systems at IWSC, we value the ability to provide high quality and challenging recreation opportunities for people of all ages and abilities in support of an active and healthy lifestyle.
Membership requires a commitment of 8 hours of volunteerism annually in any capacity that helps the club. By becoming a member you will provide the resources to make these opportunities available not only to you and your family now and into the future. Members can earn a free membership for the following year by volunteering over 40 hours over the course of a season.
